Why a fee

Each release anchors an audit line on Hedera Consensus Service, which costs network fees, and runs on funded custody infrastructure. The per-call fee covers that and keeps the model honest: you pay for what you use, and the cost of the on-chain record is built in.

Accepted payments

Native-asset amounts are oracle-priced to the dollar figure at call time.
